1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Villareno. These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Villareno ("Company", “we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of our website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”). We provide residential and commercial renovation, repair, and maintenance services.

By accessing the Site, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Use. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS OF USE, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SITE AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

2. Use of Our Services

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes. You must not use our Site to schedule fraudulent service requests, submit false reviews, or engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the Site. By submitting a request for an estimate or service, you confirm that you are the property owner or an authorized agent of the property.

3. Estimates and Quotations

Any estimates provided by Villareno (whether verbally, in writing, or via the Site) are approximations based on the information provided to us at the time of the request. We reserve the right to modify estimates if:

  • Hidden conditions are discovered upon physical inspection of the property (e.g., water damage, structural issues, asbestos, or mold).
  • The scope of work changes at the request of the property owner or authorized agent.
  • Material costs fluctuate between the time of the estimate and the execution of the work.

A formal, binding quotation will be provided before any major renovation or repair work commences.

4. Project Delays and Unforeseen Conditions

Renovation and repair projects are subject to unforeseen delays. While we strive to meet all projected timelines, Villareno is not liable for delays caused by factors outside of our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, severe weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, back-ordered materials, or the discovery of hazardous materials requiring specialized remediation.

5. Payment Terms

Payment schedules for commercial and residential projects will be outlined in your formal service agreement or quotation. For smaller repair jobs, payment is typically due upon completion of the service. We accept various forms of payment as indicated on your invoice. Overdue accounts may be subject to interest charges and the suspension of ongoing services.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and our trademarks, logos, service marks, and text are our proprietary property. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent. "Villareno" and associated branding are registered trademarks.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

While we strive to provide high-quality renovation and repair services, the Site and all information, tools, and services provided are offered on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to your property that is not directly related to the specific work we were contracted to perform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Villareno or its contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Site or our services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Villareno is located in Burnaby, serving New Westminster and North Vancouver. Any legal action or proceedings arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of British Columbia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Use at any time. By continuing to access or use our Site after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page accordingly.
